When we were kids in Corbin. KY we were excited when we saw that mom had several cans of cherry pie filling sitting on the kitchen counter. We were thrilled when we discover that mom had decided to make Cherry Crisp. That was a dessert that was overflowing with cherry filling! It was always a big hit with the family, packed with bold flavors and its stunning appearance.

INGREDIENTS TO MAKE SKILLET CHERRY CRISP
- Sugar
- Oatmeal
- Flour
- Brown Sugar
- Cinnamon
- Butter
- Cherry Pie Filling
HOW TO MAKE CRISP IN A SKILLET
Preheat oven to 350.
Place butter in 10" skillet and place in oven until melted.
Remove from oven and set aside.
In a large bowl, combine the oatmeal, flour, brown sugar, sugar, and cinnamon.
Whisk ingredients to blend.
Add chilled butter into the bowl.
Using a pastry cutter, cut in the chilled butter until the mixture is crumbly.
Pour cherries into the skillet.
Sprinkle topping onto the cherries.
Bake about 30 minutes until golden brown.

- 2 can Cherry Pie Filling
