Pumpkin Spice Carrots prepared in a cast iron skillet are perfect for serving during Autumn and for a beautiful Thanksgiving side dish. This is another four ingredient dishes; carrots, butter, brown sugar, and pumpkin pie spice.
PUMPKIN SPICE CARROTS
Making our pumpkin spice carrots is quite simple. Many families today seem to turn their noses up at eating plain old cooked carrots. So. we’ve devised another way to restore their favor on the dinner table. We created a whole new look and taste by introducing Pumpkin Spice, Butter, and Brown Sugar to glaze them.
For Thanksgiving, try making these Pumpkin Flavored Carrots and our Traditional Pumpkin Pie made in a skillet. This carrot recipe only requires the use of brown sugar, butter, and pumpkin spice to bring in the fall flavors. You'll discover that they are a lot sweeter and a ton more attractive than any other carrots you’ve probably served.
When time permits, we mix up our own Homemade Pumpkin Spice (we’ll include the recipe later) vs. using the store-bought premixed version. It includes all the fall favorites: cinnamon, cloves, ginger, nutmeg, and allspice.
We use brown sugar, pumpkin spice, and butter to glazes the carrots perfectly. Now you understand where the additional sweetness comes from. Carrots never tasted so good… this will have your family devouring veggies like never before.

HOW TO MAKE PUMPKIN CARROTS
First, prepare the carrots by washing and peeling them. You could also use a bag of the baby carrots to make the recipe even easier.
Add the prepared carrots to the cast iron skillet with a melted stick of butter and sauté and stir for about 15 minutes. Remove skillet from the heat and combine the brown sugar and pumpkin spice to the carrots and butter. Continue to cook until thickened, caramelized, and reach the desired tenderness.
