  • 4 Filet Mignon Steaks
  • Sea/Kosher Salt to taste
  • 4 tbsp Butter
  • Ground Pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp minced Garlic
  • 1 small Onion sliced
  • 1 sprig fresh Rosemary
  • 1 sprig fresh Thyme


  • Allow steak to come to room temperature on the counter.
  • Salt and pepper all sides of each steak.
  • Heat skillet over high heat.
  • Preheat oven to 400.
  • Add butter and sear steaks on all sides.
  • Reduce heat and add garlic.
  • Separate onion into rings and add to skillet.
  • Add rosemary and thyme.
  • Stir to blend flavors and spoon over steaks.
  • Place in oven until internal temperature reaches 130.
