Ingredients
1lbLard
1cupLeftover Fried Applessee recipe
1Refrigerated Pie Crust
½cupSugar
1tspCinnamon
Instructions
Heat lard in dutch oven to 375.
Cut pie crust into quarters.
Place about 2 tablespoons of apples to 1 side or each pie crust piece.
Dip your finger in water and run around edge or the piece and fold over to seal.
Use a fork to crimp edges.
Cook for about 8 minutes.
Turn and cook other side for about 3-4 minutes.
Stir together sugar and cinnamon to combine.
Sprinkle pies with cinnamon sugar to taste.
