Homemade Roasted Boneless Turkey Breast begins with a three-pound frozen boneless turkey breast that is covered in our homemade rub. The rub used in this recipe is a basic combination of spices. To elevate the flavor, we choose to roast our boneless turkey breast in cast iron, use our rub, and rest the breast on a bed of vegetables while cooking.

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp Kosher Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 ½ tsp Rosemary
  • 1 ½ tsp Thyme
  • 1 ½ tsp Sage
  • ½ tsp Garlic Powder
  • 2 stalk Celery
  • 2-3 Carrots peeled
  • 1 Onion
  • 3 Potatoes peeled
  • 3 lb Frozen Boneless Turkey Breast
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 325.
  • Mix salt, pepper, rosemary,thyme, sage and garlic powder for rub. Set aside.
  • Remove plastic overwrap from turkey breast. Leave netting in place.
  • Remove gravy packet.
  • In a dutch oven or deep skillet, place in bottom several stalks of celery, several carrots, one onion quartered, and several potatoes quartered.
  • Drizzle turkey with olive oil.
  • Rub turkey with the prepared rub.
  • Cook for 3 hours until internal temperature reaches 170.
